YOUTH LEAGUES

The Haraya Youth Developmental Sports Leagues aspire to be a multiple sport athletic organisation that provides quality experience of competition for every participating athlete.

We provide well-organised sports tournaments appropriately structured to accommodate developing levels of play commensurate with small-sized schools. The league will cultivate its players’ individual ability, potential, and interest to promote a positive youth sports culture that teaches life lessons, perseverance, fair play, and excellence through healthy athletic competition.

Haraya Youth Developmental Sports Leagues were established primarily for schools that want to start and improve their athletic programs progressively and effectively.

The founder of the league, Coach Ryan Villena, has vast experience in managing athletic affairs of schools of different sizes – from universities, to medium-sized institutions, to smaller progressive learning centers.

Together with other coaches and educators who share the same vision, Haraya believes that each student should have the chance to play against each other in tournaments.  One learns to strive in doing better and to develop  resiliency through a carefully-structured organisation of competition.

What makes Haraya Leagues unique is its adherence to skill-match participants in order to achieve parity.   Each Haraya game will be closely-contested and will always be a fruitful learning experience for everyone.  This is because Haraya Leagues are grouped into 3 different divisions according to age, skill-level, and school student population.

Coach Ryan Villena awards the All-Haraya First Team of the Middle School Division at the Season 1: 3X3 Basketball Festival.
