The Girls Volleyball Challenge Cup was between the unbeaten Immaculate Conception Cathedral School (ICCS) and Meridian International Learning Experience who had to win over Holy Spirit School to claim the playoff spot.

The Lady Aguileons drew first blood, taking a close 1st Set, 26-24. ICCS answered back in the 2nd, 25-21. Meridian was a set away from pulling it off when they dominated the 3rd Set, 25-11. But Lady Blue Knights kept their poise by salvaging the 4th Set, 25-20 to force an extension.

Meridian rocketed to a 7-2 lead in the final set and seemed to have an insurmountable momentum. The towering line of the Lady Aguileon defense was gaining the better end against the ball-controlling skills of ICCS.

ICCS though still managed to close the gap at 12-10, inching ever closer to remain unbeaten.

However, the Lady Blue Knights committed 2 key receiving errors in the final stretch as Meridian fended off the late rally, 15-10 in Set 5,  Meridian wins the Challenge Cup for the first time in their inaugural season.
